Garmin ANT+ for Android - Gear

Hi folks,

A fairly simple Garmin related question I hope...

I have got a Garmin Forerunner 405, currently I do not own a laptop which I could upload my data to.
I would like to use my Samsung Galaxy S2 to upload data to Garmin connect via my phone from my Forerunner 405.
Is this at all possible?

I don't think it will be possible.
Some Sony phones support Ant+, but I don' think there's any sort of 3rd party bluetooth/ant+ style dongle.

Having said that, after writing it I had a google and found that a chipset exists that does do it-
http://uk.mouser.com/pan1317-pan1327/ so maybe in the near future there might be some suitable products.

yes, you can. I do it all the time with a 910. see here www.sportablet.com

Yes. I do it with 410 using garmin uploader. Works every time
