Thanks for the information. We are aware of some of the issues people are facing. Most if not all can be resolved by making sure the Forerunner has the latest unit software version 2.80 and GPS chipset version 3.00. Here's how one can check: MAIN MENU > SETTINGS > GENERAL > ABOUT FORERUNNER. The user can update by connecting the Forerunner to a computer and running WebUpdater. WebUpdater is a free download that will check for and install software updates without using your Internet web browser. To ensure compatibility, they need to have the latest Training Center version 3.3.2 (Windows) or 2.0.3 (Mac). I think Garmin's new Garmin Connect will eventually replace MotionBased (and Training Center) to support the entire Garmin fitness product line. I hope this helps.
