I got mine today. Unfortunately I had to run without it this evening as it was on charge but I've tried it on and played with it and I think I'm going to love it a lot!

No run tomorrow. I'll take it out on club night on Thursday and post a report

Come on then, it's half way through the following day.

What's it like to run with? And how cool is the personal pacing function?

I love kit porn threads.

I can help here. Its fantastic to run with and can make you run faster. Or slower.

I log on to ask a question about the Garmin forerunner that my lovely husband is going to buy me (I am sooooo high maintenance) and lo and behold a thread already exists. What I was wondering was if it was absolutely compatable with OS maps and scales etc, pardon if this is a silly question but just want to make sure I don't have to buy additional software and can use it straight out of the box on Christmas Day.

Come on Higs - pull your finger out. We need some feedback from a real runner who has invested some of his own cash.

I'm eager to buy but need reinforcement. Does it do what is says on the packaging?

Yes hurry up, i have almost ordered it every day this month

tonight OK? wearing it for club night so I won't be able to set my own pace using it. Next long run, Sat a.m. - will use the virtual training opartner then (as I have no mates!)

tut.. if i'd known it was going to lie unused and unloved for so long i'd have got you to post it to me for some tlc ;)
