Supportive underwear

Can anybody recommend some shorts/tights/underwear which supports mens bits and keeps them separate from the top of the thighs? I have recently started running again and have been reminded that i suffer quite badly from chub rub. Ive used all the creams and stuff before but im not keen on lubing up if im honest. If anybody has had the same problem and found a product which helps id love to hear from you.

Bodyglide is very good, but if you prefer not to use a lube then try lycra shorts?

Hi wilkie, ive tried bodyglide before, it is very good but ideally im looking for some shorts or similar

The most chaffage i've had has been from lycra shorts.
How about a running kilt?
And let it all dangle like nature intended.

Haha brilliant. Do you have one of these? are you brave enought? I dont think I am!

I feel I should also suggest the running kilt...

I have the same problem and the Nike lycra undershorts have got me through marathons with no chafing at all. Think they are the body armour range or something but they all work.

M&S do some very flattering 'sport' undergarments that keep the Crown Jewels from moving about.

Under Armour do boxer shorts which are supportive and also made out of a breathable/soft material which means you don't get chafage.  Other option is to just wear some lycra base layer shorts/compression shorts.

Decathlon (the shop) do cheap lycra boxers and pants - cheap as chips and very effective.

I use these when running long distances:

No chafing at all.
