I'm sure i'm not the only bloke who hates running tights.  I just feel like a proper t*t in them!

I see some of the football teamuse a kind of, shaped jogging bottom to train in and they look like they would be good to run in.  However, i can't find them anywhere on'tinternet.

 Any ideas anyone?

Tried em, didn't like em.  Felt like a 1970's PE teacher.  Sorry.

They are an aquired taste .... my OH only wears them after dark !!

lol.  They certainly are.  I've been trying to run during the day due to all the frost though.  Is it wrong to be bothered by how you look when you're running?

stop being a tart and just wear shorts ........you know it makes sense

yes - function over fashion every time

I wear tights when needed - and a skin tight one piece lycra when doing triathlon - and if this 16stoner can get away with it so can any other bloke.....

Long shorts. With knee length socks ... that'll keep ya warm!

thats not a bad call mate, i play football outside every Thursday and don't even think about wearing tights etc.

I must stop being a tart!!!

Still, if anyone has any suggestions i will, of course, pass them on to my friends (ssshhhhh).

Stop being a wuss and either wear shorts if you dont like 'looking like a t*t'.......or if you are cold, put the tights on and forget your embarrassment.

If FB can do it - and he is of sturdy construction, then I am sure you can!

...or goto somewhere like sports soccer and get a cheap and nasty pair of baggy tracky bottoms.

I dont really like wearing tights either....but function. However, my OH saw me in them recently and she thought they were great!

you could try Skins.....?  The product, not starkers....   although i guess these are a bit like tights...

Or, (if you've won the lottery) look at some of the Gore kit.  Excellent winter gear for running and bike - it is pricey though.

A pair of tights with a pair of shorts over the top?

Whenever I run in my tights it causes a public decency incident and I on;y try and wear them after dark or with a shorts over the top (makes carrying my keys and ipod easier as well)

Not shorts over tights.

That just says   "I'm afraid that I might look silly in tights".

Tights are fine - no-one is taking any notice anyway.

I've never once minded seeing a man in running tights

You might mind the sight of me, Bearlegs but sod it, I don't want frosty legs.

Skins are supposed to be very good but I'll offer this warning.......................

I used to run with a female friend who turned up for one run in a new pair of skins leggings.  She was very pleased with them............... and so was I as they were pretty much see through from behind
