Does anyone know of a site that sells running cloths in size 16 plus.

At the moment my only option has been m&s. If there are any other larger ladies out there - what do you were?

Nike XL is usually about a 16 and they also do XXL which is 18/20.  Adidas also goes up to 20 I think but they are never very generous with their sizes so that will be more like 18.  Ebay was always a good source for me.  Next also have a good range of sportswear and on their website they have Adidas, Nike etc in all sizes.

I normally find that JJB stock larger sizes than most. Seems lot of stores have mentality that u have to be skinny and size 8 to exercise which is not the case. Had my size 16's ( also known as extra large!) on today and ran 12 miles...

Thanks folks for that, I will look in all those places. I agree, most shops I have tried have loads of 8 to 12, a few 14's and rarely a 16. I really like the dorunning range but most of their things only go up to a 16 and with the best will in the world, unless they are very generous in size, that aint going around my chest.

Someone should start a company specialising in larger size sports wear.

Sports direct have size 18 and size XXL (I think it is 18-20), plus you can buy men's running tops (the wicking type) in larger sizes, not sure what brands though. Think you can search by size on the website. Sherunsheruns at Bluewater sell size 18s if you live anywhere near there.

And I can recommend lessbounce.com for the larger up top (ahem) ladies amongst us...good sports bras in proper dimensions!! There ain't no bouncing going on!!

Thanks,

I live in Dorset right on the coast but my sister lives in Hertfordshire as often goes to Bluewater. I might go there next time I visit. I got a sports bra in M&S. Its not bad at all, I think they must have revamped their range cos its bright pink and grey and actually does what it says.

I'm new (re-new) to running and have been doing it for 7 weeks now doing the couch to 5k program. I'm hoping that the longer I do it and the further I can run, the more weight I will lose. So far its not really coming off.
