Am gutted.... couldn't get to my local Lidl branch yesterday so tried first thing this morning. ALL GONE! Didn't even have any socks left (not that I could see) just the shoe inserts, and men's XL running shirts.

Have just rung the next nearest branch and they've sold out too. Strewth!

someone bags all the gear and sells it on ebay

I found a pair of their stretchy walking trousers for 99p a few weeks ago

-the same person was selling lots of the cycling gear too so I presume they either work there or get in early and buy up a load of stock

I will not wear pink bloody socks no matter how dirty/stained they become on cross country runs.

Plenty of socks in all colours if you are size 10+ at Sutton-in-Ashfield, only pink available for smaller than that.

I only went in to see if they had a flip front motorcycle helmet left but unfortunately they hadn't.
Never mind, Aldi have motorcycle stuff in from tomorrow.

Nothing wrong with pink - get in touch with your feminine side

I'd rather get in touch with the feminine side of that nice young blonde who works in customer relations, actually. Will wearing pink running socks help?

Just realised yesterday there is a Lidl store in the centre of Glasgow.

Its down near where Woolies was, just off Argyle St.

Can't remember the exact street name, sorry !

Don't know how long its been opened.
