low h/r readings on 210 fore runner - Gear

hi all,i keep getting eratic readings on my h/r monitor on my 210 .it starts of fine then after a mile or two i start to get way to low readings even when running hard efforts.i use electrode gel on the sensors aswell.if any one has had the same problem can you let me know if and how you fixed it thanks.

What do you mean by too low? Have you taken your pulse rate manually?

it should be 160bpm when tempo training for example but when im running at this effort im getting readings as low as 70 bpm

Change the batteries in the strap?
Re-pair the strap and the garmin?

i'll try changing battery see if it works it has had some hammer thanks mate
