Quite like the look of the new Tom Tom multisport with built in heart rate monitor, anyone got one? If so whats your thoughts, I heard that its swimming stroke function is very dodgy indeed but apart from that it works great.

Thanks

I've used the previous one without built in HRM - very fast to pick up signal when you update it regularly. But that's about it from a positive point of view. Strap is infuriating - not secure and unit constantly comes away from it. Updating it is often problematic, it is quite buggy. I think for the price I would look elsewhere..

It's got a battery life of 10 hours hasn't it ? So not enough for most people doing Ironman. For that reason I'm out.

I'm not sure anything has the battery life to get me round an IM
