I like to recommend online retailers to friends and family when i have had a positive experience. Wiggle, Sportshoes, Play, Alpkit, and WH Smiths, even Argos have all given me excellent service recently.

However, i am sick of the companies who take our money and then give us crap service.

BOURNESPORTS, despite their free delivery, are getting it in the neck from me. Having ordered some new Ron Hills on the 20th February, expecting delivery by the 29th at the latest, they are still not here. They didn't think i'd like to be contacted, or told the item wasn't even in stock. They said they'd overlooked me and hoped the item would be in stock by Monday 5th March (no email to inform me either way) and they're still not here.

This may seem a little over the top but if reading this means they lose one order thanks to their crap customer service then i'll be happy.

Have you got a gripe against Spring Marathons, Ultra/Adventure Racing and Triathlons?

Fuck me, remind me not to get on the wrong side of Just Run. He'll take out a full page ad in The Daily Mail.

Had a similar experience with them back many years ago - waited a month then they sent wrong size. I don't think their website is an accurate reflection of their stock. I've given them a wide berth since then.

Mr Majestic, I went over the top (as I stated) but we’re all entitled to let off steam, and it was 4 threads, not 7. You’d think I’d commited a murder the way the ‘general running Gestapo’ went on.

John Pollock, I did give them an ultimatum, to which they finally replied! They claim to have sent my item today.

Dancing in Spikes, you are the third person to have replied in a similar fashion. Others simply never received their stuff at all. I wish they’d posted about it as I’d have just gome to Wiggle and paid an extra £5.

Thankyou Stevie G, i have now calmed down, had  tempo run, followed by a recovery run, and have even received my item. Its shit and is being sent back
