Running Shop in London - Gear

Hi

I Will be crossing London on Friday afternoon on my way home from a course
from Waterloo station to Euston. Can anyone recomend a shop with a good range of trail/cross country spikes and fell shoes that is not too far out of my way and let me know nearest tube station. Thanks

The widest range you would get in central London would probably be at Run and Become (Victoria). The closest station is St James Park on the District Line.

If you go to www.runandbecome.com they list their product range.

Run & become is/was fine, but you have also runners need in Camden Town, 1 or 2 tube stations nort of Euston with the northern line.

Runners Need Camden is a good shop, but they don't have a particularly large range of off road shoes.

They have got the most popular models in though, and it's only a few minutes up from Euston, so well worth popping in to.

Or there's Nike Town just by Oxford Circus tube (a quick hop along the bakerloo line & then onto Euston via the Victoria line afterwards). Obviously only does the evil Nike empire but it does stock pretty much their entire range of both spikes and off-road shoes.

if you are male... if you are female, don't think about going to Nike Town as the stock is non-existant!

Definitely agree with Venom... Steve appears to be male.

Left field recommendation is London City Runner - about 20 minutes walk from Waterloo.

Head to IMAX cinema, east along Stamford Street, north over Blackfriars Bridge to Ludgate Circus, Right up Ludgate Hill - right between Starbucks and wine bar with Champagne bottles on window-sills. LCR is about 20m along on the left...
