Any recommendations for shoes for a half marathon which is primarily on grass but also features some paths (Hackney marshes). I'm tempted by cross country studs, any thoughts?

if it's dry normal road shoes will be fine. if it's been wet for a while some trail shoes would probably help grip. you won't need studded shoes unless it's as muddy as hell as if it's been peeing down for months.
as above, light trail shoes would do the job if wet!!! I only wear studded shoes if it's muddy and hilly!

It's pretty dry at the moment. Road shoes or trail shoes should be ok, unless we get a sudden monsoon.
