Hi can anyone recommend some shoes or even just tell me the type of shoes I should be running in.
I have really high arches and everything I have read says I should have a cushioned shoe for high arches but last time I had my gait analysed the shoe shop told me I needed a neutral shoe because I had a forefoot strike. I do have a fore foot strike but I also underpronate significantly. My current shoes have really only got wear on the very outside edge of the forefoot, where bits are starting to fall off they are so worn but the rest of the sole looks brand new.
I am going to have my gait checked again and get some new shoes on sunday but I think I need to have a better idea of what I should and shouldn't be buying before hand and even better if someone who has the same issues as me could recommend some to try!
Cushioned shoes and neutral shoes are the same thing.
Ohhhh I see!! That clears that up!
