I've been scouring the forum for info on buying my first HRM. I'm still unsure which to get for my current use: mainly in the gym and for swimming.
I've come across a reference to a "Speedo Competition HRM" by someone calling themself Ironwolf. Anyone know more about this HRM? I know other HRMs are also waterproof but I've tried swimming with a polar strap and it always slips down my chest (I'm a fast swimmer!).
My impressions from the forum are that Polar are good but that other brands offer better VFM. I'm also being vain: I'm looking for one that I can wear all the time (I work in a health club) and use as a watch. Any suggestions?
