Stability shoes for the poor runner? - Gear

I am training for my second half and desperately need new shoes, but I can only justify sending about $60 on a pair right now. Does anyone know of any cheaper stability shoes they would recommend? I was looking at Asics Gel Blur33 and New Balance 857.. Advice?

Many running shoes don't change much from version to version - maybe find the one that works best for you, then try and find the previous version of it (probably online) and you should find a good deal. This also works with colour changes - as new season colours come out the previous ones are often put on sale.
