Do you take any?

I take L-Glutamine and a multi-vitamin.

For the multi-vitamin I buy Wellman. Does anyone know if the more expensive ones like Wellman are any better than the cheap mulit-vitamins? Or am I wasting my money?

Plus I take the occasional Glenmorangie for medicinal purposes.

I think you pays your money and you make your choice.

I don't trust cheap supplements, some tests have shown that they don't actually contain what they state they do. They are also full of bulking agents.

Medicinally speaking, I find Bowmore reaches the parts better than cheaper alternatives and I know I'm not wasting my money there.

I take quite a few, including creatine occasionally, saw palmetto, glucosamine and chondroitin, Co Q10, fish oil, B and D vitamins. And calcium and magnesium. I think there is modestly good evidence for the benefits of all of these (and I look for my evidence in medical journals, not popular magazines).

After reading other peoples posts here, I might try glutamine too!

AmyO - To answer your question regarding lucozade they have brought out a new range of products with a red label branded 'Recovery'.  The powdered drink is a combination of protein (4.1g/100ml) and carbohydrate (10.2g/100ml).  They also do bars in the same range.
