Treadmill help

I am looking at buying a treadmill and any advice would be a help.

I have only about £300 to spend and have been looking at ebay for second hand ones and also in Argos at the Roger Black Gold which is on sale at the moment. 

My running at the moment is just about non exsistent and having gained a huge amount of weight haven't got the courage to plod outside in my little village at the moment.  Also during dark winter months it is not safe to run as only main busy roads to run along in the dark so this is required for now and winter workouts.

Can anyone advice on any particular make/model to buy or to avoid.

Have bought a Horizion Paragon from ebay.   Did lots of research on it so hope I have bought the right one.   Going to collect it at the weekend.

Now I just need to set up a training programme on it for weekdays and outdoors at weekends. 

The Roger Black ones are really short so they are not very good.

I bought a full length one from ebay but its Argos old stock (only cost 150 from 1000) its a reebok one and can vouch for it, its great.

I think argos have that on sale too.

Hiya.  Yes I looked at the Roger Black one and it did not get very good reviews.

what kinda training do you do on yours.  Am not sure what I will attempt with it but there are plenty progrrammes and incline.
