non in stock at that link dibbers

how can retailers justify over £100 for pair is a mystery to me though.

I fancied trying a bit of barefoot so I've started running one day a week in a pair of scuba diving booties, their a neoprene boot with a thin rubber sole that cost me less than £20, seem to be wearing ok upto now, done 25 miles in them so far and you can really feel the burn in your calfs the day after.

Just had a look at some Sidi Ergo ones at £270 ouch! at least you get a bit of carbon fibre for your money, Vibrams are just a rubber glove for you feet.

Get a knock off pair from Ebay. Many of them are excellent quality. Look for someone with a lot of feedback and a long track record. You should be fine.

You should see the price for some of the cycling gloves too!

Cheers guys for replies, I was a bit concerned using eBay, whether I’d get originals or not. But Santa has ordered a pair off eBay, just have to wait and see.  Shame I can’t start running in them until another 31 nights have passed though.

I got my five finger Bikila's from

www.lovethoseshoes.com

Great people if you have to ring, they also say they are unbeatable on price in the UK.

I got mine from the london marathon expo in 2011 and they were £90. Pricey yes but well worth it. I ran in them for the first time for a while tonight and they were great. You wont get through them like you would a pair of running shoes!!

Sort of true, but my big toes have made a couple of holes in the top off vff treks after 350 miles. Still, at little bit of extra ventilation is welcome in this weather
