Have done some of the Black Dog races as my parents live in Metfield (7 miles away, I think - do I win a prize?). They seem a friendly bunch. Would particularly recommend the Groggy Day Run (Boxing Day - next year?). Lots of their races are sponsored by the local brewery, who give away free bottles of beer to all the finishers. And you sometimes get free pizza too. What more could you ask for?!

Not sure if you win the prize as it's your folks that live nearby... Let me think about it.
Yeah, the local races look good but have emailed the Black Dog Running Club and not heard a single sausage back. Most annoying.
