If there is, in my opinion, one big shame about this shoe it's that Asics stopped making them. I first bought a pair two years ago and was immediately at home in them. I've taken advantage of Up & Runnings offer and bought two more pairs. One of which I wore in the Thanet Quicksand 15 race - a tough 15 mile beach race with some very tricky surfaces - they passed the test very well and were comfortable enough on the tarmac sections of this race. Trust me, they are a good, versatile shoe!
