Just a word of warning as I had a nasty shock with my Barclaycard statement this month. Did you know that the cheques that are on the end of your statement are very easy to use fraudulently? I didn’t get my November statement and it seems as though whoever stole it used the cheque to draw £900 from my Barclaycard account. If I had realised these cheques could just be paid into someone’s account with no real checking I would have asked to have them stopped ages ago. It seems very unsecure to have these issued so I thought I would warn anyone else out there who gets them. Just hope I can convince Barclaycard that it wasn’t me who wrote it and get my money back!
