Berlin Marathon 2013

EHN - me too. Plan for Paris starts Tuesday... I'm already carb-loading!

Currently I'm dreaming of being able to complete the following (at least) in 2013:

Jan 1st Morpeth 10k

Feb 17th  Brighton Half

March 23rd Coniston 14 

April 7th Paris Marathon

June 23rd Alnwick Half Marathon

July 14th Northumberland Coastal Run

September 15th GNR 

September 29th Berlin Marathon

After that, have to see if I can still walk!

How'd you get into the GNR?!  I signed up for the email notification but got nothing

RS - I'm a member, 2013 is my 3rd year of three.

You'll likely hear in January if you've been successful, then the charity places are released.

If you get a place through the ballot, they offer you a chance to spend a large amount of extra cash to guarantee your place for 3 years in advance. Makes me sick to give cash to BUPA but I love the run.

hmm...I'm doubtful I'll hear but will wait and see.  Guaranteeing a place for 3 years?!?! surely they have enough people wanting to do it without offering that?

holidays were fun In a mad running, swimming, cycling blur way.

I love big races, and have also paid up for another 3 years guranteed entry into GNR after using up my 3rd year this year, can't wait! Nice warm up for Berlin! So far, I've also got the Great Manchester Run (did I mention I love BIG races?!) and the Leeds 10K. Will sign up for the Great Yorkshire Run when it's out.

I generally am a BIG race fan too...and great running face Sticky (mine alas is still a deep red from my 5k on the TM today)

Sticky, that's an awesome running face!  The outfit makes it pure class!

You need the ears though

I am doing Liverpool too, plus 4 Villages, Blackpool Half and manchester marathon and probably a few others too

You're a runner after my own heart...

..infact rather than me just telling everyone I am running Liverpool -I perhaps had better actually sign up for it. 

Orbutt & JPenno is the Mersey Tunnel 10k also on your lists???

Did it last year but didn't do as well as I wanted, so unfinished business.

Orbutt - I have unfinished business with all of last years races!!!

Kaz - now that I think of it.....
