You were up early Cin!
No turkey for us, we don't eat meat (cept fish). Mum made us a homemade nut roast, it was very tasty! and roasties, and parsnips and sprouts and all the usual stuff, yum! How was your barbecue?

Hi Cinny...sorry to read about your Nan. That is sad.

Christmas here was nice.  I cooked a turkey and watched movies.  Kind of my own tradiition!  I know I mention the cold a lot but it was brutal here.  Even this morning -24 with a -31 wind chill but warming up as I type.  Even the poor dogs are wondering when they will get a nice long walk.

Sending you my best wishes and thoughts for you, for your Nan. Hugs!

Thanks B and Moose, she was 93 so had a good, long life.

Poor dogs, they must miss their walks when it's so cold and I feel bad for saying it's a bit nippy here when you have -24!!!!

My Nan died when she was 93 too.  She had a great life and I remember she loved to read but through diabetes was almost blind near the end.  I remember her telling me she would be happy when she "moved on" and could read again.  That made me feel happy for her on some level.

I still go for the walks but it's just so cold that we can't do all the fun stuff we usually do like chase their dog toys and meet other pups.
