for dan dan only
My Nan died when she was 93 too. She had a great life and I remember she loved to read but through diabetes was almost blind near the end. I remember her telling me she would be happy when she "moved on" and could read again. That made me feel happy for her on some level.
I still go for the walks but it's just so cold that we can't do all the fun stuff we usually do like chase their dog toys and meet other pups.
That's sad but happy too Moose. My Nan had alzheimers and had been in a home and it was hard for my Grandad when she didn't remember him. My Grandad is 92 and still totally with it.
When will it warm up over there or are you due a hard winter?
Wow...you have longevity in your family. Alzheimer/dementia is awful.
We are -15 now. The coming days just get nicer and nicer so hopefully we got our one brutal shot of winter. Typically January is the coldest but not always.
Loaded with this heavy cold and need to catch up
Cinders: Sorry to hear about your Nan.
Thanks birkmyre. Hope you feel better soon.
Wet again, was hoping for some dry weather over this holiday period.
Thoughts are with you Cin -

Just drying up here now
B....yeah Manitoba can get really cold, but I'd rather be running a coffee shop in the UK (unless it's the one on coronation street)
What happens in the coffee shop on Corrie Moose?
It just seems really busy and full of fried food.
Typical Canadian good service. (Is the guy called Roy Cropper?)
Lol, is Corrie still behind in Canada?
Just back from the panto
