Covnverted Tread Mill Levels to Pace/min?

I think this might be a stupid question, but assuming that all tread mills levels are the same (probably not), has anyone ever bothered to go to the trouble of converting the levels on a treadmill to min/mile pace?

I know they display the occasional min/km, but I never seem to remember and I like to know what pace I'm running at during a tempo or speed run.

Cheers
