Edinburgh long run

Hi there - I am in Edinburgh for work this weekend and want to do apx 11 miles on Saturday morning - I'm staying on George Street, so really central.

Can anyone suggest a good route or two?

I would head over to Holyrood Park. Its only about a mile from George Street, and then you have your pick of tarmac or trail, flat, or for a great view, 'run' up Arthurs Seat. Plenty of options available there - I don't have a specific route as I was more of a walker/hiker when I lived in Edinburgh

thanks - should've said I did that last time So might well do again, but any alternatives good.
