Unite friends destroy the enemy.

The evil fiend is taking over.

Destroy the wicked weed, cut and slash the vicious parasite.

But don't let the nettle go to waste search on line for nettle recipes. There is a good one for nettle beer which only takes three days to ferment.
From memory this is very strong.

But seriously anyone running the Barnsley Boundary on Sunday (Tankersley leg) I am going to clear some of the early paths on Saturday. Any help would make for a faster time.

Sorry- I will be cutting a swathe through the Penines to get to Wales for Castles Relay otherwise I would gladly dust off the machete and join you.

Muntjac deer hide in the nettles and jump out at you and go boo.

Don't cut nettles back until July by which time all the catterpillars that use them for food will have pupated. Ladybirds, lacewings and hoverflies also like nettles.

and besides that glow in the legs that persists for days is there to remind you of how virtuous you have been!
