Well Done go for it:-) I'm just doing the "Health, safety and Sport Injuries" at the moment and that's plenty enough for me. Hope it's the last fit2run booklet of the course!

Can somebody clerify something for me,

Curently doing the Health Safety and Injury booklet.
1- I only got 1 booklet but got 7 submission date ????
2- on the Assessment booklet, there are a Pass section but what are the "Merit" and "Distinction" section? is it optional?

use the 2nd admission date
1 assignment should finish the course
I think the rest of us just did part 1 for the pass - if you want to get a merit you need to do the 1st 2 bits for distinction you need to do the whole booklet of questions!

Thanks EP, good to hear it's the last assessment of the course:-) I wonder if they're going to a more advanced course after this one! But first need a break form studying!

I've finished and passed and finished the course!

One BTEC First Certificate in Sport one it's way (in about 2-3mths!)

Well done all those who have passed. I've done 4 modules of the advanced - are there anymoe or should I be expecting a BTEC certificate to just arrive - eventually of course! For some reason I have in the back opf my mind that there were 3 courses - 3 x 2 assignments.

Finished mine as well, with a merit which was as much as I was @rsed to do by the end of it!

just got feed back from the heath and safety one, somehow managed to get a distiction..... me very happy, but was a lot of hard work, and did take more time than any of the other modules.. still waiting for at least 2 stiffy cats though...

I think thats it for the course isn't it?

Something to look out for in the future... the Open University is currently developing a foundation degree in Sport.

I think it will be launched for Oct 2007 so keep an eye on the website next year.

I'd never heard of Fit 2 Run til I read this thread, but sounds just the sort of course I was looking for.

I've just downloaded the application form from the website, but it still refers to 2005 entries. I presume I can still use that?
