DF3 - I don't think your phone battery will last long enough for you to be able to do provide live updates throughout the event...

Does swimming and cross trainger count as training

Hopefully tomorrow or sunday will be the big day I start running again ....... don't worry 4 weeks is all I need to get back into shape!

Im going to go for a run tomorrow

If all holds up then I shall be back doing my regular 13.1 mile long runs within a week

In fact, for a laugh I might just never go further than 13.1 miles at any stage up to the day of the race just to see what happens on the 5th May.

with that sort of heavy mileage, make sure you take a long taper going into your double half event, we dont want you over trained and tired

Dont worry Dean ...... Im finishing off my 3rd croissant as we speak ........... although I did have to go up two flights of stairs unnecessarily this morning because I forgot I left my phone on the charger this morning. Doh!!

damn! thats frustrating, all this hard work being undone by over training. 

perhaps ease off on any exercise planned later this week to counter the unfortunate stairs incident.  or how about sleeping downstairs, or geting someone to carry you upstairs next time.
