The European record has got to be a target next, 12.49.71.

It will be interesting to see  what he does next, Commonwealth's? If he does, he goes head to head with Kenyans again.

It was also great to see Chris Solinsky go below 13 mins again, who I believe trains with Chris thompson, Rupp etc, at the Oregon club. His performance barely raised an eyebrow.

Never realised the European 5k record was 12.49.71, Cheers for that Martyn.

Good for Rushida in breaking Kipketers 800m WR, Sub 1:41 next ? I think so. He could be the 800m runner for a while, by the looks of things.

I suppose I've got more of an appreciation for the speed these guys run now that I'm in the habit of running round a track (much slower) myself, but every time I watch a top class 800m race now I think "Woah, slow down, you can't keep that going for 2 laps!"  That WR run was bloody incredible.

Oh yeah - WELL DONE MO!!  I've seen Mo run in the flesh and OK it was slightly downhill at the time (Sutton Park, National Road Relays) but jeez, poetry in motion...
