I have nearly knocked down Kelly Holmes twice (Me in the car, her running round an oncoming bend) ! I also trained with her a good few years ago - well, I say trained with her, I was actually on the next treadmill to her as she was running with her trainer .........

Last sumer I saw Lisa Dobriskey doing hill reps in the park where I sometimes run; 3 weeks ago she and husband Ricky Soos ran the Braunstone parkrun in Leicester (my 'local') and last week they were running past the supermarket as I turned in to pick up a few bits on my way home from work - am I stalking her or is she following me???!!!

Oh and I spotted Hugh Jones while I was out running on Marathon morning this year (y'know, the Marathon...) whilst he was doing a reccy at the Cutty Sark. Had a quick chat just to make sure everything was in order. He used to run a bit.

BUT Coe won the longer race to the car park which was the opposite of what was expected.

Ovett was very shocked as he usually won the longer races to the car park and the slightly longer distance to newagents shop just beyond car park.

Not running related, but going for physio the other day, a chap from the now defunct "One True Voice" was in there too. Must be frustrating for those chaps as that was the year Girls Aloud formed the girls group, and the boys formed OTV, and the restis history!
