Help-advice needed!

Last minute training advice

Hi All, 

I'm signed up to do the Great North Run (half marathon) on 16th September. Due to tendonitis and laziness I haven't been training properly. I can comfortably run about 12K at the moment. My 10K race time is 58mins.


Any advice on how to prepare in such a short period of time for the 1/2 would be much appreciated. I'm intending on eating clean and running 3 times a week at at least 10K each night-is that a sensible approach?


Also, to throw another spanner in the works-I'm going to Vegas the week before the run :-/
