I went out for a long slow run today and around 18 miles I started getting hiccups. It's happened on other long runs too and while it does usually ease off after a few more miles, sometimes I really suffer.
Just wondering if anyone else experiences this, I assume it's going to be something to do with my stomach moving around and stirring up a bit as I try different foods / gels on long runs to prep for ultras so it's not a particular food / gel.
Is there any way you guys deal with this sort of thing as it's frustrating that it's not my legs that suffer first but apparently my stomach!
