How many toes can you see from behind
I went to see a podiatrist for an assessment this week. One of the tests he ran was looking at me running on a treadmill and, from behind, seeing how many toes were visible on the outside of the leg - i.e. whether my feet were aligned or splayed out.
My feet are fairly strikingly turned out when I run. This is apparently not great, but I happened across a picture of Tsegaye Kebede (winner of men's race in this years London Marathon) in a book I'm reading and noticed his feet do the same thing! Do a Google image search if you don't believe me.
I think someone should Mr Kebede he's doing it all wrong!
