wow have just caught up with all this thread, what a completly nerve racking day you guys must have had waiting for us all to come in
do you have any finger nails left?!
my race report is still in my head, but I will try and do it today, but it was a truly awesome day, the support on the course from other pirates and spectating pirates was just amazing and I dont think I would have got round with out it.

well - I do remember going Ptooey when I tried a Paprika one, but then I don't like paprika. But I also remember (and not fondly!) Carl spitting out an entire mouthful of what I'm sure were the hot and spicy ones, coz I tried one (fresh out of the packet, I hasten to add, not a Barlist reject) and it did burn my tongue.

I do also remember with some fascinated incredulity the positively anteater-like tongues doing their thang in the "eat Pringles without using your hands" contest.
