Ohhh, so sad

I remember running in some races with her taking part, she was always so friendly and encouraging of other runners.

A true inspiration for all women runners of any age.

Just to add, there were 2 Jenny's, only a few years apart in age and they ran in the early 1990's. I think I did a marathon with her in 95.

Some of us long time running girls must remember her.

So glad to hear that a fellow person has heard of the name i thought i might be the only one apart from a few other "girls" at my club that have been runing for the same length of time as me.

She wasn't just an inspiration to women runners, it was seeing her doing the London Marathon that persuaded me to give it a go.  I was so chuffed to see her running that year - she was heading out to Docklands while I was on my way back and I saw her on the opposite side of the Highway.

Of course I remember Jenny, she is one of my inspirations to keep on running after 50 years in the sport. She had a wonderful long and happy life, and accomplished more than most people.

RIP Jenny- I remember her well.

I see the family would like a race in her memory-that would be a fitting tribute for an inspirational lady!
