I didn't witness anything, as has been pointed out on this thread a couple of times. The rumours that have dogged him for many years were that he was inappropriate around kids, that's what I was referring to in the first two posts.

The incidents I mentioned at Stoke Mandeville were with nurses just out of training school, that's what I've been told of by someone who worked there at the time and worked with one of the nurses.

Anything else I can clear up for you?

I'd not take Saviles stories at their word. Theroux himself said that he caught Savile out on a few lies and exaggerations.

Nope, nothing else to clear up, you've heard rumours and know someone who knew a nurse who got her arse slapped.

When you can't turn round for celebs being accused of sexual misbehaviour I wonder why no one has made a proper complaint to the police. Even years after the event. or have they, is there also a conspiracy theory you can tell us about too?

I think some people like to trade on gossip and really want to believe malicious stories so they can air self rightgeous views at dinner parties or on forums. This scummy evidence would be kicked out of court in minutes.

I don't consider that clip a big deal - I saw the programme at the time and didn't think it was then either.

I don't know what you are accusing him of re. the nurses as you haven't said - I don't condone sexual harassment or worse though. But this is the thing - if you believe everything on the internet you'd believe he was procuring boys for Edward Heath to abuse on his yacht. Now call me cynical but if I was Prime Minister and wanted to bugger a boy I wouldn't go to one of the biggest TV stars of the time to personally provide me with one.

Of course if it turns out that he was a child abuser then I'm glad he's dead and it's a shame he didn't suffer first.
