A place to discuss running in Lancashire
i am hoping to do that one too rick, not done it before. But someone on here has i think, as i asked about it a bit back......,cant remember what they said sorry , other than maybe they said it was country lanes....i might have that wrong mind.
Hi guys, central lancs half is pretty flat with the only climbs being the bridges over the motorway (4 different bridges I think). Good mix of abilities and I have always managed to get into groups of my ability. If it is good weather then this is a fast course. If it is windy then it is one to grit your teeth and keep going because there ain't much shelter. Have done this for the last 4 years and think it is a great race to start the year. Enjoy.
Hi All, not been on for a while so I thought I would show my face . Done just over 8 miles this morning on a hilly course to get the fitness up. I've been looking at the Central Lancs Half this morning and might just enter it later today.
thanks Max, i knew someone had done it before!!
I didnt race the xmas pudding race in the end, i decided i wasnt quite right. So perhaps the Leyland's boxing day race will be my return to racing.
well done on your entry Paul, only 50 places left you say......hmmmm maybe i should enter it and to hell with it all :P

drat too late
Oh well there is always 2015..........maybe i'll do the inskip half instead
