Any thoughts on the change to good for age qualifying times without any notice!!.. So if you've ran what you thought was a qualifying time recently it now turns out it may not be good enough, personally doesn't affect myself but do know people who it does rather unfair I think

Any chance you could spot the half dozen threads on this very tedious subject before you start another ?

They announced it a month before. That's notice isn't it?

I think quite a lot of people have noticed!

The question is. How much notice should be given? Were some runners running at 90% just running fast enough to qualify and if they had more notice they could have tried a bit harder to make the new time.

Are there no moderators on this forum who can merge all these duplicate threads together....they're infesting the whole site. There are so many users think of the something and start a new thread without even looking

dave the ex spartan obviously if I had seen it would not have posted may be tedious to you and some others who have posted but not to many other people and yes Sussex runner some people just do enough to get qualifying time as they are in training for ultra runs etc and a months notice isn't really sufficient.. Finally you both do seem a bit arrogant and aloof have no time for your type

A hint then Kev if you want to talk about a marathon happening in the spring, try looking under "Spring Marathon" section...

if you are training for an ultra, why are you worried about GFA for VLM ?
