didn't realise that help the heroes only helped those since 9/11........hadn't noticed that in all the hype..........so those who were injured before are not heroes...........

They're similar to the National Lottery. They give "Grants" out and there are strict criteria for applying for a grant.

What Help for Heros does is fantastic... However (I`m exforces) Our goverments send troops to the battlefield and expect the ultimate sacrifice. In return our troops should expect the very best facilites supplied by the same goverments should they get injured in any way, shape or form. if the goverment cant supply this then don`t send troops out. Contraversal I know but worth thinking about.
