Thanks guys, I'm always amazed at how friendly and supportive you forumites are. I've put the paper back and they're agony on my feet now. Also on closer inspection I've noticed that they are not laced up properly!! I shall demand a refund.

Chimp!!! xxx Where have you been?? It's nice to see you again :)

Own tail? Of course not! My own tail isn't long enough to reach down that far! You Chimps don't seem to know much about piglet geography :) No, this is an oxtail that I found lying in the corner, and I'll be putting it in with the chicken carcass to make the chicken soup that Pernickety Butt recommended earlier.

WeeP: just who is it you fancy? Please supply a list of forumites in order of preference; this has gone on long enough. One minute you're leading me on and getting me all excited about the prospect of "makin' bacon" (so to speak) and then you're throwing yourself at Chimp. C'mon. out with it (and no trotting off without telling).

Shouldn't that be "pedantry rules, ok"?
28/01/2003 at 15:19
JJ: but he always rings twice so his ring is plural. I'll just send the rest of this direct to the moderator, saves a lot of fuss and bother that way.

Think you just slipped down Piglet's list JJ.
28/01/2003 at 15:21
I think it's a cultural thing, DavidB. We piglets are omniblokerous, and can be attracted to almost any sort of bloke. I'm afraid we just can't help ourselves. Sigh...

I'll start to put together a list, but I'm not sure whether there'll be room for me to squeeze it all into this little box. Still, I will try. I'll start writing now. Expect the first batch in a couple of hours or so.

<piglet takes up pen and begins to scribble furiously>

Wee piglet. Nice web-site!

Now what did you want squeezing into your little box??

<mumble, mumble, mumble, SNEEZE>

JJ - sorry, I covered my snout in a little cotton bag, but then I found I couldn't speak.

So sorry about the projectile, but I'm relieved it landed on Chimp rather than you :) Old Chimpy won't mind :)

<piglet re-drapes little cotton bag over snout and takes up pen and list again>

Chimp - thank you!

And also for your kind words about my web site :)

Tee hee hee hee hehehe hee!

<piglet skips away, tittering dizzily>

Omniblokerous - I like it, Wee P. Always good to keep them guessing.
28/01/2003 at 15:31
It's not snake oil, JJ, honest. It's skunk oil.

Hello meerkat :) I've placed an order for the VCR, and hope to have it delivered to me later this evening.

JJ - you're wearing a suit? Swooon......
28/01/2003 at 15:41
Piglet. You off to see JT? He's doing some concerts in late spring. Me and Mrs will probably go and see him in Sheffield?
28/01/2003 at 15:46
JJ - Is it your birthday now???

Chimp - Many thanks for the tip - I hadn't realised he was due, and I'd certainly like to see him. Just been over to the website and I see that there's not a great deal of choice. No Manchester? I'll probably aim for Sheffield. Thanks again :)
28/01/2003 at 15:48
You're right JJ. Just didn't want to get too technical. Skunks are only very distant cousins, although their outer wear is very classy.
Hope the VCR eases the snout, WP.

Hey, JJ - you sound like an extremely snappy dresser! I particularly like the sound of your pale yellow shirt :) What's up with the tie, though? I thought you besuited blokes used ties and socks as an opportunity for a bit of wild self expression? (Waistcoat linings too, of course!)

Knickers, though? Hmmm... Did you realise that Helly Hansen make wicking briefs? Terrifying, eh? They have them in my local running shop right next to the counter, and I confess that they fascinate me... whenever I see them I think of the knicker thread....
28/01/2003 at 15:56
Mens or womens wicking briefs, WP?
28/01/2003 at 16:03
I think they must be men's, Meerkat - I haven't dared take them out of the box for a closer inspection, but that's how they look on the little drawing...
28/01/2003 at 16:23
I was going to say something smutty about wicking - but I'm brought up short by your being a virgo, JJ. I lived with one of those once - he was a perfectionist and insisted on doing my washing. Also seemed to be capable of living on 50p a week. Tell me you're not like that...
Anyway, WP, about this picture on the box...
