Hi runners,

I have 6 medals which are stored in my desk drawer and I've been thinking it would look cool to frame the medals. Do you any specialist shops in London that sells framings/displays for sports medals....any ideas?

i got my frames in hobbycraft in romford. i'm sure there are some in more central london. there's space for a certificate and the medal.

By a chrome (or gold) rail and brackets from Homebase and hang them from that. Holds lots of medals and is alot more cost effective than framing.

This is actually a friends business, which i think is great to use for framing their race photos and medals.  I have bought a frame, and i know many people who would also like something like this as a memento.

Robert - it's very hard not to come to the conclusion of spam when you have made five posts; four of which have said the same thing ie promoting a framing business

I just pin mine in a line on the wall in order of receiving them, making sure the bottom of the medals line up so it looks neat. Alternative option to wallpaper on a feature wall!

I would need to take them out of the plastic bag under the bed first

Mine are all hung around a mirror.

Someone mentioned a 'medal tree' a while back on a similar thread though - try Googling that.

Looks a bit like the ones you use for mugs.

It was me who got a medal tree, was £20 I think with p&p. Has 8 branches and apparently holds 80 medals but I'm up to 18 and it's looking nice, too many and I think it was look cluttered.
