Post details of your last run and what you think of it
7 miles last night from London EC3 to Blackheath (usual route around the Isle of Dogs and through the foot-tunnel to Greenwich) – started slow and finished strong. Managed to catch the final of the men’s 1,500 metres on the big screen in Blackheath village.
Last night. 5 miles 37.33 mins. very pleased with that time. Was an effort though.
Last night: Hill repeats 2mins up x10 with 2 mins recovery coming down, 2 miles warm-up and down. Had to change fields halfway as I was getting funny looks from the bulls as they were edging closer and closer and giving me the eye, I swear!
Wed 7.00pm - 9.8km (45 min)
warm sultry evening - hilly mixed pace run - one long killer hill about 1km long which I ran at full effort - enjoyed a bit of oxygen debt
beginning to enjoy my running a little more following a bit of a 'stale' period
good running everyone
finally shaken off a cold, and back out on club run for 6.8k at 4.45m/km
@nessie 73. well done for being a human being. sounds like this was the Epping Forest 5-Miler, which i was thinking of doing!
Baldbloke- yes it's the Forest five, third of three 5 mile races throughout the summer and it's organised by my club. It's a lovely route actually- do it next year!
tonight fantastic, if rather warm, 5.5 mile club run through the forest. No drama tonight thank god. Update on the horse rider isn't good though. She needs facial reconstruction surgery and has a spinal injury that they aren't sure about...
4M Steady off road with Geordie, around fields overlooking Glasgow airport. Dry and a bit cooler than yesterday up here.
Just over 5 miles. Hungry, thirsty, hot and tired. Not the best run recently but I was pushed for time.
Thur 7.00pm - 10.6km (48 min)
warm evening - run mainly on grass - couldn't believe how wet and muddy the grass path was on the park perimeter - it is normally rock hard at this time of year - grass hadn't been cut so most of the run was in knee-length grass - good to get off road for a change
run strong everyone
7.5 miles with club tonight around Windsor park.
Short wake up run this morning. 4.93 miles at 7.01 m/m pace.
Ran 4M Steady with Geordie (our black labrador) Sun shining over my shoulder as I write this
3 miles around the park this morning in 27.45 mins. Trying to work hard on my speed! There was a mist over the park to start with - it looked lovely.
Happy Friday! 4.85M this morning rather sluggish but was a beautiful morning!
Rashida looked a bit sluggish too, didn't he??
11 miles at easy pace this morning. I wasn't able to run Mon-Wed due to a painful blister so I'll be running long for the rest of the week
Morning and an easy 3M off Road with Geodie. Legs felt a bit heavy and I felt tired..
Sat 7.00am - 7 mile (approx) - garmin free
glorious morning - social run - mixed hilly terrain - first 4 mile easy - last 3 mile brisk - felt reasonable - enjoyed the warm sun this morning
good luck to Mo Farah
good running weekend everyone
a very slow 5 miles for me this morning, including hills. Legs felt quite heavy. It's a lot cooler this morning - no blue sky showing at the moment
And yes, Good luck to Mo for tonight!
8.5 miles easy with the family cycling alongside me this morning. Very hot and slow. Last run for over a week- we're off to Turkey in the middle of the night tomorrow- and I'm not packing my running shoes....
