This is my 14th run. Im still a newbie. I did 6.5 miles in 1 hour 5mins. Im getting stronger and i feel i could go even further as im not wore out but i dont want to push it or get injured. I did an extra mile and a half today, so im getting more stamina. I want to do distance running so this is great.

4.5M Fartlek done. Ran it today and not usual Thursday session.So legs not stiff on Friday morning for drive to Ullapool.

Wed 6.30am - 14km (garmin free)

blustery with dark grey skies - very inviting for an early morning run  - got round without stretching myself too much - busy evening ahead so needed to get todays run in early - achieved!

Intervals today 5 x 1 km intervals in 3:20. Managed 8 miles in 50 mins overall.

Wed 3miles (29 mins)

Ran to local park did a loop and ran back before picking up my daughter from her Highland dancing class, it was sunny with a cooling breeze, and I managed to get it done before an April like shower.

hampstead run with the club last night. the "official" hampstead club run season is over but a group met up early to do this marvelllous route one last time for the year. splendid views as ever, but unfortunately one of the group tripped up in the dusk and hit her face so we had to stop and look after her until she was ok to walk to a taxi.

margitking: well done, your doing very well but don't be tempted to increase the runs too quickly.

5.5miles (46mins) on a hilly route. dry but very cool at 5:30 this morning.

Training for the Windsor half & planned a 11 mile run.  Went out & did a slowish 6miler to the running club & planned to do a 5miler with my friend.  Problem was we took a wrong turn and ended up doing 7.5miles.  Whoops!  At least I know I will manage the half

Me- 5ish mile club run last night.  Last one of this year in the forest as it's getting too dark now.  Roads for my Wednesday night run now until 2013

Thur 8.30pm - 14km (garmin free)

steady run without pushing too hard - hadn't been looking forward to it but not bad once I was out - this route seems to be my default run as I seem to have done it far too often recently - the route is a square of pretty equal distances and always seems tougher in one particular direction

20 minute tempo @3.58min/km pace. My last tempo run was at 4.03min/km pace which was .03 faster than the previous few. I am well within my tempo training range of 3.51-4.15min/km based on my fastest  5k 10k and HM  times so I may attempt some longer ones.

It never ends and I have to get some track work in before the leaves fall and the bottom end of the track floods.

It always does.

Got slightly out of sync and had to do my intervals this morning. 5x1k at 4.35m/km around Battersea Park. Feeling good for club 10k champs next weekend, and then Windsor. hopefully Surrey Runner won't lap me.

22 miles last night - found it easier than I expected but my toes are suffering a little today particularly my big one on the left.

Been tapering this week for Ciren 10k on Sunday

Did 5 miles this morning easy, same on Weds.

Looks like there's a massive storm onthe way for Sunday so the run whould be fun - woop woop

4 mile easy run in 35:45 on my lunch break. Felt sluggish and legs felt heavy. Still building up the mileage (another 6 on Sunday will make 20 this week) so not too fussed about time, but knees feeling a little sore. More heavy and stiff than painful, so not worrying too much.

Another run with Jog Scotland easy paced run around the southeast of Inverness at dusk, I'm starting to get a little nervous/excited about my first 10k race a week on Sunday,
