4 miles for me this morning at a somewhat less sedate pace than Tuesday's run. Quite pleased that my fitness hasn't dropped off too much.
There was some low level mist hanging over the park, making it look very Autumnal, and the only wildlife I saw were 2 blackbirds, who sort of scuttled out of my way, which was a bit disconcerting as for a split second I thought they were rats!
6.8miles this morning with 20mins of hill work. Legs feel ok now after Sunday's 10k
Wildlife - pigletts, squirrels galore and some things that looked like a cross between chicken, turkeys and geese?!?!?

3 miles last night. Took me 30 mins, felt like rubbish.
40 min run at lunch today. 4.2 miles, felt ok. legs a bit heavy, otherwise fine.
8 miles of which 5 were pathless and very boggy and muddy. Amazed at the different varieties of moss that make up bogs though ... wildlife - plenty of grouse hopping around and some other birds I couldn't identify!
Did a 11.71 miles long run this afternoon - swallowed 2 x flys on the way round. It seems to have sapped all my energy.
Pyramid session on the track with club this evening.

ran that one hard - needed to get rid of some steam after 'one of those days' at work - feeling better now
not much wildlife this evening - well apart from three black hooded air-heads who refused to move as I was going past them - what is it with some of these kids?

Two runs for me last night one with jog scotland and one after, a bit naughty given my 10k race on Sunday,
10.25miles this morning. Too sleepy and dark for me to notice the wildlife!

10 miles on the dreaded treadmill as it was peeing down outside, its so much easier outdoors !! then an hour spinnin..
I did a 7.63 mile recovery run this afternoon, it felt really good to be going slow and to feel I could have gone faster. I find it takes a lot of concerntration to keep the speed down.
Sat 8.30am - 8km (garmin free)
weather a bit bleak this morning - wore two layers for the first time in a while - easy paced recovery run - still felt like hard work - nevertheless, it was sill good to be out and enjoying some good autumnal fresh air
The trees are beginning to show some wonderful colours as the leaves turn

club 10k champs. ran 46.55, which is my second best time over the distance. a little disappointed, but glad to be improving again after several months of going backwards. felt very queasy from 7k on, meaning I couldn't speed up, although i did hold on to 4.40m/kms right till the end. plus, it was a beautiful day and a really fun event!
An evening 6.53 miles at 6:40 min pace, quoted on McMillian as an easy run (it didn't feel that way). Although it was quite windy the sun was shining, a beautiful autumn evening.
This time last week I posted that I'd just done my longest ever run of 18 miles in 2hrs 35mins. Well, I've just beaten it, as I did 20 miles today in 2hrs 52mins. The last 6 miles or so were really hard.
Another good day for it, fresh, calm and dry.
I feel that I'm pretty much ready for my first ever marathon (Dublin at the end of October).
Sun 7.00am - 25km
a bit slower than normal as one of my fellow runners was struggling and I felt that I had to stay with him - we got round............eventually but it was very stop-start
no more runs over 15km until the marathon which is two weeks today
