Post details of your last run and what you think of it
5 miles this lunchtime from work. Not something I've done before (lunchtime runs from work) and it was OK. Found a handy trail running down from the M4 to Filton, tried to find an alternative way back and got a little lost but I'm safe and sound now. Got overtaken lots by some very fast runners.
A nice 8 mile run today at 9.45m/m pace in the lovely sun shine along local footpaths.
slow slog to work this morning. 5 miles in 57 mins. Clapham to Bishopsgate, not particularly scenic :-\
8 mile recovery/easy run this evening
Moring 4M Steadily done.
Dry, cold, no wind. Not a bad run
speed session last night. 10 x 400m intervals at 75secs w/ 2 min recovery.
Nice run/recovery with a few mates last evening on way home from work, doing a 50minute tempo run tonight on the way home. Should be nice and hungry by the time I get in!
Wed 7.00pm - 10km (garmin free)
easy run with a couple of small efforts - lovely cool evening for running - four of us who are all doing the marathon on Sunday enjoyed a natter on the way round - tension definitely mounting a little
happy running all
5.65 miles at 6.51 m/m tonight. Just a short run as had to go out to dinner.
Started a 50 minute interval session but felt lousey so sacked it after 20 mins - only managed 2 intervals so pretty disappointing really. Nevermind theres always tomorrow...
Going great guns nearing end of run (just over 5k) and decided to attack the pavement with my face! Fallen a few times in the past but first time I used my teeth to break the fall. More bothered about appearance at work tomorrow but at least it only hurts when I laugh!! Back on it Saturday, this running lark will be the death of me!
easy 5 miles at 7:05mm
Morning, 4,5M Fartlek, Drizzly, cold, no wind. Hard session.
Had a couple of days off with the lurgy but fighting fit today.
6.5miles of half mile on it, half mile recovery. These dark mornings are killing me!
horrible run in this morning. 55 mins to cover 5 miles. had to stop a couple of times to walk. legs felt really tired and heavy. I ran home last night, then went swimming as I'd forgot I'd agreed with my gf to go, I felt ok swimming, but pretty tired when I woke up this morning, think perhaps just fatigued a bit. not running again until Saturday morning (looking forward to the parkrun so i've 48 hours to rest my legs a bit (apart from the gentle cycle commute).
A revisit of the Interval session that I sacked last night. A succesful 50mins tonight of 5 x1km interval and a 2 mile tempo run to finish.
Great racing from SR, Squawk
Nice one baldbloke
Have not had time to get online recently. Littler one has been ill - again- and life's been mental busy / knackering etc. I've still been running as usual though. Including a great 6 mile club run last night. I'm going to try for a 14 mile LSR tomorrow and if I manage it, I'll go ahead with the kilomathon in two weeks.
Tough session tonight. 4x400 w/ 1 min rest @ 76-77secs. Then a 3 min rest, then 2x2000 w/ 4 min rest @ 7:13 for the first 2k, 7:04 for the second 2k. Aim was to fatigue our legs before we did the 2k reps.
Morning 4.5M Steady in rain. It's certainly wet today up here.
