10k round Waterloo & Crosby Marina before 7am - greeted by an over-familar black Labrador who was seeking out every source of moisture he could!

21k mostly off road, wytham wood, misty rainy and warm ish.  love a bit of mud.  and some gentle hilly-ness

Fartleks with club tonight.

swittle - must be the pheromones

Tue 10pm - 8km hard fartlek woodland trail - included 4 x 3min fast efforts

used a new headtorch which is a useful piece of kit and comfortable to wear - good for the off road stuff (which seems to be 75% of my runs at the moment)

dig in everyone

5M Steady.

6 mile tempo this morning, one of the wettest runs in ages.  Thank you Manchester.

21/11/2012 at 08:56

Blimey, if someone in Manchester says it's wet then it must be really wet !

5 miles last night (in the dry !) including 3 miles at half marathon pace. Legs felt good and looking forward to my first half marathon on Sunday

21/11/2012 at 11:14

It was wet, even for Manchester!

21/11/2012 at 19:57

11.62 mile run round Kettering.

21/11/2012 at 20:56

Wed 7.00pm - 10.5km (garmin free)

easy paced run - no inclination to push it tonight - learning the benefits of proper recovery between hard sessions

good running everyone

awful lot of fartlekking going on...as for me, regular club run of Hyde Pk/Green Pk/St James Park for 11.5k at 5.20m/km...always fun

21/11/2012 at 23:07

lol @ cidlad.  Few self-respecting dogs + walkers to meet during a rain-lashed 10k, which was half road & half trail & lots of beach   Felt as good as I have running in quite a while.

22/11/2012 at 06:08

5m fartlek. Not a bad run. just missed rain.

22/11/2012 at 07:42

Birkmyre - move to Manchester. You cant fail to miss the rain there !

This is very true CUSM but only a tiny few drops hit my head this morning on my 6 mile recovery, quite breezy though.  Very enjoyable autumn run all in all.

Brace youselves runners, the weather forums are abuzz with chatter about a 2010-eque early winter event on the way for the end of next week.  Brrrrr.

22/11/2012 at 19:26

A 10k route through Crosby & Blundellsands ending up at the Coastguard Station, where I turned into the wind   Admitted defeat after a quarter of a mile and cut inland to Brighton-le-Sands and thence home.

22/11/2012 at 19:36

4 miles easy. It was absolutely pouring. Splashing through puddles, getting soaked by cars - I was drenched by the end. Good fun!

22/11/2012 at 21:05

Track session with club tonight - mile repeats.

22/11/2012 at 22:50

Thur - 10pm - 4 miles steady

short on time this evening and was close to giving it a miss - guilt got the better of me so I headed out for a quick tempo run - not at my best today after a bad day at work.

as someone once said 'tomorrow's another day'

battle on everyone
