Post details of your last run and what you think of it
club run in the wet last night. hyde park/st james park/green park at 5m/km (8m/m). decent outing
6.5 miles in the pishing rain this morning. Most enjoyable
6 mile tempo this evening before tea. WET!
Thur 8.00pm - 45 mins treadmill with handweights
didn't fancy getting drenched on consecutive evenings
last day at work tomorrow until Thursday so looking forward to the next few days
Morning 4M easy and it's very wet out.
6 mile recovery, just 1 mile with the hound today (reluctant little bugger he is). Fine rain.
7.6 miles this evening - nice day today, sun shining, a little nippy at the start but I soon warmed up. It got very dark very quickly towards the end though.
Big run MG1.
Just a 6mile steady today. Little wet and cold. Regretted only going with shorts as the chilly wind whipped up my shorts and made my little fella uncomfortably cold.
Flippin' eck glad I went out as I rescued a sheep tangled in brambles, but it was a bit damp and breazy. Alright, chucking it down and howling! The cascades on the reservoirs were raging. Did not see a soul out, strange that! Was suprised the dog even came out and she soon got the 'ump. But a good 5 easy miles done. Torrington Christmas Caper tomorrow.... where is my silly hat and tinsel....
14 miles up and over the southdowns with the 2 dogs today. Was definatly an interesting and more eventful run than most. A couple of hundred agressive sheep chasing me up a hill and out of their field. Wrong turns thanks to the freezing wind and rain causing 30ft visibility on the top which ended up in having to throw myself and said dogs over barbed wire fences and the water logged ground threatening to give me trench foot.
It made me remember just how much I love to get out and run no matter what the conditions.
7.35 miles of tempo on the treadmill for me tonight.
kallum - hassle free run then?
Sat 4.00pm - 7 mile approx - easy pace - constant heavy rain throughout
good running everyone
7 miles, 1 with the dog. Pretty windy.
Sun 8.00am - 16.4km hilly mixed pace run (77 min)
clouds blowing away as the sun was putting in an attempt to appear - mild enough for shorts - strong gusts of wind on the top of one the hills was fun to battle against
keep it going over the next few days
another Mlr-er in t shirt and shorts in December! splendid lap and a half of Richmond Park for 16k at 5.10m/km followed by full english with other club runners at Pembroke Lodge. beats Christmas shopping anyday!
btw, i'm expecting no slacking from MLR forumites over the xmas period!
15.2 mile mlr. End of first week of the P & D program. 54.73 miles done.
