tempo intervals on the river terrace in Battersea Park last night. 7x1k at 4.30m/km.

hard work, but a beautifully mild evening.

Early again, picking up my pal and running 23 minutes with her at a suitably slow pace.  She'll soon be faster than me again!  5.1 miles in all.

7.5 miles for me this afternoon before being halted by a sore hip which resulted in a 1.5mile walk home.  Better safe than sorry.

9 miles on treadmill.  Did four at slight faster than half marathon past as part of a LT session.  Treadmill set to 1 percent and gym's aircon was on low - very hot and stuffy.

Used treadmill rather than outside as didn't want to be running at near full pelt through uneven streets in the dark.

Sat 1.00pm - 8 mile hilly mixed pace (garmin free) followed by a 'chill' in the steam room

felt better as the run went on - felt like a spring day with sun and little breeze

plenty to work on over the next few weeks to get fitter and stronger

Sun 8am - 18km hilly mixed pace

misty and gloomy morning but the sky was a kaleidoscope of different colours as the mist lifted

pushed it on the hills and ran easy for the most part - legs a bit tired but a couple of easy days should remedy that

jacuzzi temperature was a bit down today

good running everyone

15 mile medium long run this morning.  Week 3 of program completed.  58.2 miles run this week.

Tadworth 10 Mile race. Good fun, although shame it was too misty to see the Downs. Fairly challenging undulating course. Did 1.18.40 and felt I had bit more in the tank at the end

just 3 miles for me today.  I'm getting the bug back slowly but surely tho... I hadn't planned to run today but was itching to get out so I fitted in a short trot over to mum's for a Sunday roast whilst the rest of the family drove and I met them there.

nice easy one after the weekend's hilly runs - teaming down and mud to the hilt

easy run in Regent's Park and Primrose Hill. 7.5k at 5.10m/km. ran off some of the stiffness from Sunday (or lactate, if we're being posh about it.)

good to have birkmyre's early morning posts back.
