Post details of your last run and what you think of it
Cheers, people Just putting in the 1.1 mile Streaksavers atm. It's tight muscles below the calf that's the issue but it's easier: no longer descending stairs with my body at 90 degrees to the wall
4M Steadily done this morning.
14.11 miles this evening.
Fri 10pm - 8km woodland trail with Fudge in tow - easy pace
quite an easy and comfortable running week which I have enjoyed
good running weekend everyone
5m recovery, cold and calm.
Havem't posted any of my runs this week! Done plenty of mileage it's been great 10 miles this morning, broke 1 hour 10 for the first time
My calf didn't enjoy 2.2 miles around Waterloo this evening: hot bath, ice & pills administered
Take it easy Swittle but well done for keeping on keeping on 12 mile medium/slow one this morning. Incessant rain, damned cold and not all that enjoyable. Onwards and upwards though.
6 miles into a 12 mile run i came home, i just could not get warm, it was raining and icy wind and just misserable, horrible run.

Well done Sianz. I know, I've been knocking down a few of my times recently and it feels pretty good doesn't it.
Thanks! It certainly does.
Had a pretty rough 12 miler today, the weather (awful rain and very cold) was just too much for me I think!
Redjeep - good to have you back
Sun 11.00am - 'mad dog' 10km in Southport - miserable day for it, so I wasn't hopeful time-wise.....surprised myself with a pb and achieved a goal of mine to go sub 40min (39.23)
makes me wonder what could be achieved on a still warm day
Marc.S - your next run will erase the one before
congrats to both cidlad and SR on the PBs - in fact there seem to be an amazing number of PBs coming in from Wokingham despite the foul weather...makes you wonder if it doesn't work as an incentive to get the race finished ASAP!
personally, i'm glad i decided to skip the race - i still feel very flu-ey today and it sounds as though hospitalization with pneumonia would have been virtually guaranteed.
commiserations to Redjeep and Swittle on more serious woes. take it easy, lads!
Nice one Cidlad and Surrey, some excellent times.
Baldie- get better soon
Swittle and Red- take it easy
Horrible weather here too- constant freezing rain and sleet. So I chickened out of going out as I already have a cold. Copped out with 30 minutes intervals on hubby's treadie, which is better than a kick up the backside I guess :-/
Some good training going on.
4M Steady for me.
Cidlad + Surrey. Some fantastic running and excellent PBs.
11 miles steady for me this morn. Cold and windy, brrrrr.
